BIOGRAPHY

Born on December 19th, 1995 in a not very small city in Tuscany, Rachel discovered her passion and talent for music at a very young age, when she enjoyed singing along to her favourite Disney movie songs.

When she was 13, she discovered a local Gospel music school and decided to join it, not sure of what was ahead.

She discovered pretty quickly how happy she felt singing and dancing with other people, touring all over Tuscany to bring a smile on the face of whoever would listen to the enthusiasm that the choir was able to bring.

After less than a year of total enjoyment of her role as a soprano, she asked her parents to let her take private singing lessons from the same teacher who funded the Gospel school.

Her interest for music, and singing in particular, kept growing, introducing her to different genres, spacing from Gospel, Blues and R&B, to indie pop and electropop.

Her curiosity brought her to discover and experience music from many different cultures. One of her favourite non-western genres is Kpop.

Inspired by different kinds of pop artists like Adele, Jessie J, Halsey, and Ariana Grande, she decided to move to London, looking for more opportunities to develop her skills further and introduce her music to the vast public of the musical city of London.

Once in London, she enrolled at the University in East London, where she studied Music Performance and Production. There, she learned how to manage a live concert, write and compose her own songs, and master music softwares like Logic Pro X, Ableton Live and ProTools - in addition to developing her business skills.

At the same time as her university studies, she took up a part time job at a nearby supermarket to pay for further music lessons with private teachers, and additional performance studies at ICMP. She also took dancing classes to improve her stage confidence and timing.

She also volunteered at the Forest Gate Arts community, helping setting up the monthly open-mic night, being in charge of the live mixing, stage lights, and every now and again helping with filming and recording.

She mainly composes and produces electropop and indie pop songs, with deep and personal lyrics; but she is always open to experiment with different genres, especially the ones out of her comfort zone.

One of her biggest dreams is to one day earn a Billboard award.
